SUNAJUST II Salzburg Advanced Workshop
The SUNAJUST Advanced Workshop is an advanced training programme in which national courts are immersed in their role as State aid judges focusing on how to practically solve State aid cases.
In this workshop judges are trained on how to apply and interpret topics such as:
- The notion of State aid ex Article 107(1) TFEU
- The concept of an undertaking
- The standstill obligation ex Article 108(3) TFEU
- The concept of new and unlawful aid
- The different EU State aid procedures
- Their role as ‘European’ State aid judges
This workshop is open to either judges who participated in a basic SUNAJUST workshop or are already experienced in applying the EU State aid rules.
