Daniel Fiott

Daniel Fiott is a research professor of industrial policy (tenure-track) at the Department of Applied Economics of the Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB). His research focuses on the nexus of industrial policy, defence-industrial policy, technology and trade. Daniel holds a PhD in Political Science from the VUB, supported by the Research Foundation – Flanders (FWO), and focused on European defence-industrial politics. Daniel has held positions with the EU Institute for Security Studies, the University of Kent and the College of Europe.
